It is officially spooky season and we have the best haunted attractions going on in Florida!


Here are my top 4 for you to visit:


Howl-O-Scream - Busch Gardens



Busch Gardens - Howl-O-Scream 2023 is full of fun and scares including new and returning haunted houses, scare zones, rides, and entertainment. The haunted houses this year are: The Forgotten: Uprising, The Residence: Home for The Holidays, Stranglewood Estate, Witch in the Woods and the newest Baggum's Circus of Fear!


D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear – *NEW* Step right up and prepare to be enthralled as you step into the big top. Ringmaster D.H. Baggum takes center stage to show off a spectacle of bone-chilling acts.


Rides are open for everyone to enjoy plus a ton of scare zones, delish food and drinks and fun spooky shows!


It is going on now until Oct 31st so make sure to get your tickets. I recommend getting a front line fear pass so you can enjoy all of the thrills!





Scream-A-Geddon



Out in the middle of a forest resides Scream-A-Geddon. If you haven't been this is one of my favorite haunted attractions every year.


6 Thrilling Haunted Houses - Zombie Paintball - Monster Midway with Food, Drinks, & More! This year they are featuring 2 Interactive Haunted Houses + Zombie Paintball Assault.


The newest house is called BREACH and is one of the best ones this year and is interactive. You can choose to wear a glow necklace on the interactive haunts if you dare to allow the houses to interact with you! Are you brave enough?

Sir Henry's Haunted Trail



Sir Henry's Haunted Trail in Plant City is another great haunted attraction.


They feature multiple interactive horror trails, escape games, and laser tag and NEW for 2023 a haunted hayride. Let me tell you the hayride is amazing my friends. So different from anything I have ever experienced and very creative!


Sir Henry's also offers roaming scare actors (great photo opportunities), axe throwing, delicious food vendors, and spooky merchandise. You also receive free parking when you arrive.

Halloween Horror Nights - Universal Orlando



I have been going to Universal - Halloween Horror Nights Orlando since 2000 so I think you can say I am a super fan!


This year they have 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, some rides & attractions open at night and of course all of the tasty spooky themed food and drinks.


I am scheduled to go to Halloween Horror Nights next week and I can not wait to report back to all of you on how this years haunts are.


No matter what get the pizza fries..you will thank me later!


Universal also has a ton of add-ons for your experience. I always get a Fast Pass so I can experience all of the fun in one night. They have RIP tours, dining experiences, hotel add-ons on site and much more. Make sure to check out there website for all of the details!

Semaglutide Injections -Tampa Fl

Recently, Semaglutide injections have emerged as a promising treatment option for weight loss, and it has garnered significant attention in the medical community. In my blog post, we will discuss what Semaglutide is, how it works, my experience at The Aesthetics Lab Tampa and the injections effectiveness in weight loss.




Semaglutide is a prescription injection that is not a controlled substance and is non-habit forming. When added to a healthy diet and regular exercise program, these injections can help you curb hunger, say no to cravings, and decrease caloric intake to finally lose excess pounds and achieve a healthier weight.



Semaglutide is a type of medication called a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. GLP-1 is a hormone that is naturally produced in the body, and it plays a crucial role in regulating appetite and blood sugar levels. Semaglutide mimics the effects of GLP-1 by binding to the GLP-1 receptors in the brain, which reduces appetite and increases feelings of fullness. This leads to a decrease in food intake and subsequent weight loss.




Semaglutide is administered via subcutaneous injection, which means that it is injected under the skin in the abdomen. There is no pain and is a simple process. I get my injections done at The Aesthetics Lab Tampa and twice a month I am injected in office and the other two weeks I inject myself at home which I was shown how to do but if you are not comfortable you can go in once a week for the injection!






The effectiveness of Semaglutide injections for weight loss has been evaluated in several clinical trials. One of the largest trials, called the STEP 1 trial, involved more than 1,900 adults with obesity. The participants were randomly assigned to receive either Semaglutide injections or a placebo injection once a week for 68 weeks. The results showed that the participants who received Semaglutide injections lost an average of 15% of their body weight, compared to only 2.4% in the placebo group. Furthermore, Semaglutide was associated with improvements in several health markers such as blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar levels.


Another trial, called the STEP 4 trial, evaluated the long-term safety and efficacy of Semaglutide injections. This trial included more than 3,000 adults with obesity or overweight, and the participants received Semaglutide injections once a week for up to 3 years. The results showed that the participants who received Semaglutide injections lost an average of 17.4% of their body weight, and there were no new safety concerns identified during the trial.


My experience has been amazing at The Aesthetics Lab Tampa and with Semaglutide. I am down 15 pounds in 3 months and my blood pressure is no longer hypertensive it is perfect. If you have been a follower for awhile you know about my battle with autoimmune diseases, my gallbladder removal and my struggle with hormonal imbalance. It has been a very long journey for me with health and wellness but finding this has helped me in so many ways.




Also, Semaglutide injections for weight loss are generally well-tolerated, but like any medication, there can be side effects. The most common side effects reported in clinical trials include nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. These side effects usually occur in the first few weeks of treatment and typically subside over time. I did have a little nausea in the beginning and constipation but other then that it has been a pretty simple process. My relationship with food and alcohol are completely different and in a positive way.




In conclusion, Semaglutide injections have emerged as a promising treatment option for weight loss in adults with obesity. It works by reducing appetite and increasing feelings of fullness, leading to a decrease in food intake and subsequent weight loss. However, it is important to note that Semaglutide injections are not a magic solution for weight loss, and it should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise program.
