Bier Fest - Busch Gardens

It is my favorite time of year my friends! When all of the beer fests begin!


I was able to attend Busch Gardens Bier Fest opening day and let me tell you if you don't have plans the next few weekends you need to head on over and try out all of the amazing food and beers.



On weekends from Aug. 17th - Sept. 8th, you can try amazing craft beers from around the world, including over 40 new brews!



The Busch Gardens Bier Fest blends the local Tampa bay craft scene with time-honored traditions to create a unique food and beer celebration. You are able to enjoy live entertainment and contemporary fare that pays homage to a traditional Oktoberfest with a modern spin.




All you need is your ticket to Busch Gardens and your Bier Fest experience is included! (food, drinks not included with ticket cost)



You can select from either a 5 lanyard sampler ($29.99) or a 10 lanyard sampler ($49.99) for all of your food and beverage samples. You can purchase your lanyards in advance HERE.



There are also add-ons that you can do at the festival such as the Bourbon Tasting and the Summer Wine Tasting. ($19.99 each)


I tried so many delicious craft beers. I am not sure what my favorite was. Everything from IPAs, Sours to Hard Seltzers. Don't worry if your guest is not a big beer fan there were plenty of options for wine, craft cocktails and even cocktail floats!




Busch Gardens has definitely out done themselves with the food at this years Bier Fest as well! Some of the items I indulged in were: Griddled Cheesecake Melt

(Sweet Cream Cheese Filling on Pound Cake, Grilled & served with Guava Sauce), Bratwurst Slider (Split Bratwurst on a Pretzel Roll with Braised Red Cabbage & Horseradish Mustard), Bacon Mac & Cheese Bites (with sweet & hot mustard) & for dessert a delicious root beer float! All of it was so good. I would definitely go back and get seconds if I had the room!





If you don't have plans this weekend, well even if you do change them and head over to Busch Gardens for the Bier Fest. The festival will also be going on Labor Day weekend so bring the kids and make a whole weekend out of the park.



There is so many fun rides and gorgeous animals to see in addition to Bier Fest.


I always stop in and see my favorite animals the kangaroos & wallabies. They are located right near the Bier Fest so you can head on over there and say hi in-between your delicious food & drinks from the festival.
