Florida State Fair - Fair Foodie Crawl 2020

The Florida State Fair this year was amazing as always but they added something special for all of us foodies out there.
The Fair Foodie Crawl which was held on Thursday, February 13th. This unique experience gave guests a chance to try the best of the best of food and drink across the Florida State Fair. At the end you get to vote for your favorites and receive a commemorative t-shirt!
Once I saw this event I knew I had to be a part. As you all know I am a huge foodie and add the delicious fair food into the mix you can sign me right up!
I am going to lay out all of the yummy fair food I indulged in on this crawl for all my viewers to check out:
CHEESY TATOR CORN DOG
(Cheese-filled hot dog on a stick, dipped in a potato and corn dog batter, rolled in Panko crumbs and deep fried until golden brown and crunchy.)
CHEESY SRIRACHA FUNNEL CAKE BITES
(Bite-sized funnel cake pieces infused with a blend of Parmesan, Romano, and mozzarella cheeses, deep fried and finished with a sprinkle of cheddar and chives, served with homemade Sriracha dipping sauce.)
CHEESEBURGER ON-A-STICK
(Grilled angus patty, dipped in DeAnna’s special batter, fried and topped with warm cheddar cheese sauce.)
12 INCH SUPER DOG
(The classic fair favorite – supersized. A foot-long corn dog, deep fried and golden brown.)
DEEP FRIED STRAWBERRY LEMONADE SHORTCAKE
(Shortcake donut holes rolled in cinnamon sugar layered with lemonade buttercream frosting, fresh sliced Florida strawberries, real whipped cream and a slice of lemon to finish it off.)
PREMIUM ICE CREAM BEADS
(Rich, creamy ice cream in 3 flavors: jalapeño chocolate (new!), coffee or banana split flavors.)
OREO COOKIES AND CREAM CINNAMON ROLL
(Mini cinnamon roll filled with crushed Oreo cookies with an extra Oreo cookie on top, finished with Oreo cookie buttercream icing.)
TWO 12 OZ BEVERAGES
(Beer, soda or water *In fair collective cup*.)
Lets just say you better come with an appetite last year. They were pretty big portions as you can see but everything was honestly delicious. My favorite was the Cheesy Sriracha Funnel Cake Bites and the Oreo Cookes & Cream Cinnamon Roll. I also could not get enough of the Jalapeno Chocolate Ice Cream Beads. So fun and had the perfect amount of spice and sweet.
After the fair foodie crawl we walked around and enjoyed all of the animals and the fun the fair had to offer!
