Were you able to attend any of the Forks & Corks events this past week? There were so many amazing winemaker pairing dinners offered at several Sarasota-Manatee Originals participating restaurants from May 2nd - 4th. These dinners gave you opportunities to learn more about the local restaurants, wineries and have them all paired into a fun educational event. I had the pleasure of attending the Pier 22 and Alexander Valley Vineyard's Winemaker dinner for Forks and Corks this week! When I arrived the set-up was simply gorgeous. From the long table with candles, to the sparkling chandeliers and all of the crystal wine glasses. I was greeted with a glass of Rose' Sangiovese from Alexander Valley Vineyard.
