Aloft Tampa Midtown - Staycation

So excited to share with you guys this gem of a hotel I stayed at recently in Tampa, Florida.


Aloft Tampa Midtown is a gorgeous new hotel right by all of the excitement that Tampa Bay has to offer.



The Aloft Tampa Midtown Hotel is located near Westshore and Downtown with a central neighborhood that’s undeniably energetic and contemporary. Tampa International airport, Raymond James Stadium, International Plaza and Bay Street are minutes away. So your hotel stay would be great for a business trip, staycation or even if you want to catch a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game and not be far to come home and crash!


One of my favorite things about the Aloft Tampa Midtown is the stunning lobby area. There are so many bright open windows and you can help yourself to a delicious coffee or fruit flavored water.





Next door to the lobby is the WXYZ bar unfortunately the bar is closed because of COVID right now but the area is a great place to relax before heading out for the night. You can play a game of pool or sit in one of the comfy stylish tables and catch up on some work before you head to dinner.

My best friend and I caught up with a glass of wine and then decided to check out Sal Y Mar for dinner on the roof top of the Aloft Tampa Midtown.


If you are looking for a stunning roof top restaurant with beautiful Tampa views you definitely need to check out Sal Y Mar.



The restaurant gives bohemian vibes and has food for every palate. We started off with a few delicious cocktails and paired that with there house charcuterie. I highly recommend!



For our entrees we had Pan Seared Scallops (Asparagus, cucumber, tomato relish, pineapple ginger sauce) and Shrimp & Grits (Cajun shrimp, cheesy grits, garlic spinach, Nueske's bacon, green onion) both were fabulous!



We ended the night with an array of truffles & macaroons with our favorite wine The Palm Rose! What a perfect way to finish our amazing dinner!



The next day we checked out the stunning pool on the roof top right next to Sal Y Mar! Such a great place to catch some rays and relaxation.
