I had the pleasure of attending Savor St. Pete this year and this was the events first year. I was blown away how well it was put together and had so many options for delicious food and drinks. There was literally something there for everyone!
The event was November 2nd and 3rd at Straub Waterfront Park (St. Petersburg, Florida) . Tons of great food, wine, cocktails and microbrews! A percentage of ticket sales from the event also benefited The Art Institute of Tampa.
There were two ticket options VIP and General Admission. If you have the funds to splurge I highly recommend next year getting the VIP Spirits Lounge ticket. You definitely get your moneys worth. You receive a limited-edition wine glass, custom tote bag and enjoy the Grand Tasting Village and exclusive VIP Spirits Lounge with unlimited tastings. The huge added bonus is access to the private Spirits VIP Lounge includes samples of crafted libations from premium brand partners and the intimate private seating. You also get an extra hour of tasting from 12pm to 1pm with all of the vendors before general admission is allowed to enter the event at 1pm.
There were so many fun cocktail options in the VIP lounge. I loved the Tito's Vodka bar there were so many fun fall/winter cocktails to choose from. I loved the apple ginger smash and pumpkin spice mule!
I was also introduced to a brand of moonshine I have never heard of, Ole Smokey Moonshine. They had options of moonshine straight to moonshine infused pickles and cherries! Such a fun addition to your everyday craft cocktail. I will definitely be stocking up for the holidays!
If VIP is not your style you still get plenty for your general admission ticket.
There was so many amazing food and drinks options Also the majority of vendors had awesome swag so you could definitely stock up on some cool things like bags of your favorite crackers, koozies, hats, key chains, tees, sunglasses and even full size products! You will definitely leave the event with your goodie bags filled to the top.
Some of my favorite foods I tried were: all the cheese samplings (Cabot, Tillamook, etc), Smoked Salmon Spread (The Library - St Pete), Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Tillamook), Fresh Ceviche (Red Mesa Cantina), Deconstructed Sushi Roll (Roy's Tampa), Paella (Bulla Gastrobar), Rigatoni Ala Vodka (Bavaro's), Pulled Pork Slider (Watercolour Grille House) and so much more!
I was also able to try some amazing wines, hard seltzers and fun crack cocktails.
Another cool addition to the Savor St Pete event was Owner, Tammy Gail had her wedding at the event! Tammy is known for her amazing events such as Uncorked Clearwater Beach and Uncorked Cocoa Beach. There was a stunning wedding cake and even fun wedding favors for all of the guests. Again a huge Congrats to Tammy on her beautiful marriage and successful event!
I am already looking forward to next year! We left full and happy. The event was perfectly spaced out and no food/drinks ran out. If you are like me and go to a ton of events this is a huge win if an event has the perfect space and does not run out of any food or drinks.
Make sure to give them a follow on instagram to stay in the know from when next years event will be. You do not want to miss out!
