Tampa Marriott Water Street

This past week I was able to do a mini stay-cation with my husband over at Tampa Marriott Water Street in Downtown Tampa, Florida.



Let me tell you my friends...If you have not been to the Tampa Marriott Water Street you are definitely missing out. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Great place to do a stay-cation since you are right in the middle of the heart of downtown Tampa where all of the action is. The hotel is in walking distance from so many amazing restaurants and bars. Steps from the Tampa Riverwalk, Florida Aquarium, Sparkman Wharf (formerly Channelside) and Amalie Arena! (Great place to stay over for all my Tampa Bay Lightning hockey fans or concert goers!)



The rooms were stunning! Very modern and up to date. We had a gorgeous view of the bay. Perfect place to end your night or have happy hour before you go out. You can watch all of the action going on and relax with a glass of wine.






Also another one of my favorite highlights of the rooms was the bathroom. The lighting was amazing and for all my lady friends out there you know what I am talking about! Perfect lighting for getting ready and taking selfies (we are all guilty of it). The shower was beautiful as well! My husband is 6'4 so alot of the hotels we stay in the showers are always so small. He was a very happy camper!



While we were staying at the hotel we were able to attend the launch of Garrison Tavern which is located inside of the hotel! Garrison Tavern offers a contemporary twist on the age-old concept of the tavern—a social house where locals and visitors can gather together over good food and conversation, or for my favorite a sporting game!



Garrison Tavern also has the first Topgolf Swing Suite in Florida which offers an immersive, virtual sporting experience. You can select from different sports as well such as baseball, football, hockey and so much more! These bays can be reserved ahead of time, ranging from $50 to $75 per hour. You can also reserve a package that includes food for any of your company parties, bachelor parties or just a group of friends wanting to get together for the night!



It is a great late night spot to bring your friends to play some Topgolf, Play Mini Shuffle Board, Watch a game or just indulge in some late night snacks. They are open everyday from 11am to 2am.



Garrison Tavern has so many delicious drinks to try! There specialty cocktails include a seasonal lemon shandy, hibiscus margarita and a Garrison Daly made up of vodka, orange blossom tea mix, lemon juice and garnished with a dehydrated orange peel and edible flower.





There is also 24 brews on tap, 20 of which are local pours, including one signature collaboration with Coppertail Brewing Co. which is now one of new favorite beers - The Garrison Tavern Kolsch.



I was also able to try alot of the food offerings at Garrison Tavern. Like the Smoked Brisket Everything Sliders (bourbon and rye bbq sauce, creamy slaw, pickled chile, house-made everything bun), Crispy Shrimp (chipotle aioli, pickled chilis, cilantro), Pumpkin Seed Hummus (garbanzo beans, marinated tomato, pita bread), House Smoked Cheddar & Jalapeño Sausage (w/whole grain kolsch mustard), Garrison's Famous Wings and so much more.




I had a such a pleasant stay at Tampa Marriott Water Street. I plan to make this hotel my new Tampa overnight spot! Between the gorgeous hotel, amazing location and delicious finds at Garrison Tavern how can you not want to stay here a few days!
