City Walk Orlando: A Fun-Filled Adventure Awaits!

One of my favorite spots is Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen. Delight your palate with fantastical fare including classic dishes like steak and seafood, and an all-day brunch featuring crepes and quiches, each with their own novel twist. The gourmet chocolates and one-of-kind desserts ranging from artisanal milkshakes to sumptuous sundaes are the best part. This 19th century themed, Steampunk inspired dining establishment with a façade of towering smokestacks and an interior adorned with intriguing gadgets and gizmos is sure to keep you entertained during your visit. Get the Baked Brie en Croute (With raspberry marmalade, served with fresh fruit, toasted almonds, chocolate almond bread andoven baked lavash) and finish the night with the Marshmallow Crisp Milkshake (Vanilla ice cream, rice crispies, marshmallow fluff, whipped topping, Rice Krispies® treat) you will thank me later!




For those who love shopping, City Walk has you covered. From trendy fashion boutiques to souvenir shops, you'll find everything you need to take home a piece of Orlando with you. You can also pick up a new pair of shades, a funky hat, or a unique piece of jewelry to add to your collection.



And of course, no visit to City Walk would be complete without taking in some live entertainment. The complex features a variety of shows, including live music, comedy acts, and other performances. You can catch a rock concert, watch a stand-up comedy show, or even dance the night away at one of the many nightclubs.



After a long day of fun and adventure, you can kick back and relax at one of the many bars and lounges. Enjoy a cold drink, a delicious snack, and the company of friends, old and new. And if you're feeling lucky, head over to the on-site arcade and try your hand at the latest video games, or challenge your friends to a game of laser tag.

A Day at Island of Adventure Orlando

Island of Adventure in Orlando, Florida is the perfect destination for thrill-seekers and adventure enthusiasts. This theme park is home to some of the most exciting and heart-pumping rides in the world, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves to feel the rush of adrenaline.



One of the most popular attractions is the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, where guests can soar through the skies on broomsticks, encounter mythical creatures and experience the magic of Hogwarts. The ride takes visitors on an exciting journey through the wizarding world, and is perfect for fans of the Harry Potter books and movies. Make sure to get a butter beer. Think cream soda but so much better!



Also a must ride is Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure it is a multiple-launch steel motorbike roller coaster located at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade section. You get to experience the thrill of the Forbidden Forest. The ride is on your trusty motorbike and you go up to 50 mph speeds with twists and turns. This ride always has a long wait so be prepared to stand in line for at least 45 minutes but it is worth it! I also recommend riding it at night if you can. So fun!




Another highlight of the park is the Incredible Hulk Coaster, which features a launch that propels riders from 0 to 40 mph in just two seconds! The coaster takes riders on a high-speed journey through the city, complete with loops, drops, and twists that will have your heart racing. It has always been one of my favorite coasters and it never disappoints.



For those who love water-based adventures, the park's Toon Lagoon section offers several thrilling water rides, including Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges. Visitors can also cool off and relax in the lazy river or take a leisurely float through the park on the Me Ship, The Olive.




One of the newest coasters is the Jurassic World VelociCoaster! Holy Moly! If you are a thrill seeker this coaster is a must! It is the park's tallest and fastest roller coaster as well as the fastest launched roller coaster in Florida, and the fastest roller coaster at any Universal Studios park worldwide. The coaster goes 70 mph with an 80 degree angle drop 140 feet drop! Throughout its course, the coaster passes above and below itself a total of 40 times. The first launch sends guests down the track at a speed of 50 Mph, while the second boosts the train back up to high speeds at 70 mph making the second half of the coaster even faster than the first. Just do it! It is so fun!



The park also offers plenty of other exciting attractions, including Marvel Super Hero Island, Jurassic Park, and the Lost Continent, each offering a unique adventure for visitors to enjoy. Whether you're a fan of comic books, dinosaurs, or ancient mythology, there's something for everyone at the Island of Adventures.



If you are looking for a fun restaurant stop while at Island of Adventure check out the Mythos Restaurant. This award-winning, full-service restaurant offers exceptional modern cuisine in a mythical setting that sparks the imagination. Featuring a mix of Mediterranean, Asian and American fare, Mythos' casually elegant menu includes options like Greek salad, pad Thai, sandwiches, burgers, and more. The restaurant also has a great outdoors sitting area so you can get breathtaking views of the whole park!
