Fleming's Steakhouse SRQ - November Chef's Table

It is that amazing time again my friends! Where I get to try out the new Chef's Table menu at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar - Sarasota. Every two months a new Chef's Table is created by one of my favorite local chefs, Chef Matt Nabor!

As always it was another fabulous experience at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar -Sarasota. Everyone is always so nice and the atmosphere is very elegant. It is one of my favorite places for a date night on the weekends.

I started the night off with a new cocktail. The Columbia Rose Sour which included Four Roses Single Barrel bourbon, honey syrup and a float of Columbia Valley cabernet sauvignon. So tasty! I definitely recommend this as a starter cocktail before your meal.

Our starter was hands down one of my favorites. Baked Brie with walnuts, pears and apricots. The inside of the brie was filled with a pear chutney that was to die for! The way to my heart will always be cheese.

We tried a few salads after our appetizer. The Chef's Table salad was a Pear Salad with cranberry, walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette. A perfect salad for fall! We also enjoyed Fleming's Caesar Salad. There Caesar has hearts of romaine, parmesan, fried capers and crispy prosciutto. Hands down one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had.

I have never had Fleming's Steakhouses lobster bisque and ordered that as well. It was so creamy and flavorful. It wasn't too heavy like some lobster bisque's can be. I highly recommend if you love a tasty cream based soup!

For our entrees we had Sliced Filet and Mushroom Risotto (hen of the woods, pan sauce), Scallop Varacruzana (cilantro salt, lime) and a side of Green Beans Almondine. Everything was so delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly and I loved the cilantro and lime flavoring. The sliced filet paired perfectly with the mushroom risotto.

Now for the amazing dessert we indulged in at the end of the night. Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake (warm chocolate sauce, caramel, honeycomb brittle, house-made Chantilly cream). Guys run don't walk to Fleming's Steakhouse Sarasota for this dessert. From what I was told it will be around through the holidays so you will definitely want to get your hands on this. Hands down one of my favorite all time desserts and I do not have a big sweet tooth. So much flavor and melts right in your mouth!

I paired this amazing dessert with an Espresso Martini. Fleming's makes there Espresso Martini's with fresh espresso so it was the perfect night cap!

As always Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar - Sarasota - Chef's Table Menu by Chef Matt Nabor will be available for two months so you can get all of these delicious options through November and December! You can book your reservation HERE.
