Florida Aquarium -Brews By the Bay 2019

I had the pleasure of attending Brews By the Bay at the Florida Aquarium on Friday - October 11th.



For 11 years, Brews by the Bay has brought people together in support of our Blue Planet.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from Brews by the Bay goes towards there conservation programs of animals such as the African penguins, sharks, corals, and sea turtles.






At the event there were 100+ beers from Pepin Distributing Company including: Coppertail Brewing Company, Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Angry Chair Brewing, 3 Daughters Brewing and many more. In addition to the 100+ beers there was an exclusive beer launch from Coppertail Brewing Co. called the Best Dressed Bird which was a yummy blonde ale. For non-beer drinkers the rooftop bar served Fling Canned Cocktails and Babe Wine!






Also in attendance were 35 local restaurant tastings from Tampa Bay restaurants. Restaurants included: Roy's, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Portillo’s, Snobachi Handcrafted Ice Cream, Harpoon Harry's Crab House, Bavaro's and a ton more!





On top of all the delicious food and drinks there was amazing entertainment! #NoFilter, Orquesta Infinidad, Frankie Raye, and a Silent Disco on the rooftop! #NoFilter was one of my favorites because they played so many fun covers of top hits! Everyone was singing along and dancing the night away.




Throughout the night you could explore the whole aquarium while drinking delicious brews, tasting amazing foods, interacting with animals and jamming out to some amazing music.




I honestly was blown away how spectacular this event was. I went 10 years ago when I lived in Tampa and had a great time then but the Florida Aquarium definitely has upped there game. Also one of my favorite parts was there were no long lines! I was able to try all the food and beers that I wanted too. Also the tickets were very affordable for everything you get! (regular admission: $69)



I can not wait for next years event already! The good news is the Florida Aquarium has a bunch of other events throughout the year. One of them being SeaGrapes Wine and Food! So if you are more of a wine drinker mark your calendar for this amazing event on May 2nd, 2020 -from 8pm to 11pm.
